i’ve configured celcom 3G connection using sierra 875 gsm,umts,hsdpa PCMCIA datacard on Acer Aspire 5054 with gnome-ppp.

the step is so simple as ABC.

1. open terminal
2. type sudo apt-get install gnome-ppp
3. after that, open gnome-ppp from internet’s menu
4. click at “detect”
5. then insert “celcom” without quotes at user
6. followup by “celcom” at password
7. then click at the setup tab
8. insert this value for the phone number, *99***1#
9. click connect, your done!
